This week was a big week for the Hanlon family as we started the school year. Grace started school on Monday morning and Bruce's first class (Christian Ethics) was today (Thursday) morning. Grace is loving school and her teacher, Mr. Owen. She has 16 other students in her class which includes one of her good friends here on campus, Katherine Grace. The school day begins at 7:15 am and ends at noon. (Yes, the start time is very early in the morning but it is to prevent the students from roasting in the classrooms when the weather starts to get really hot.) We have also signed Grace up for ballet once a week which she is very excited about. We are thrilled that she can continue to pursue an activity which she loves. 
In Bruce's Ethics class, he has about 80 students. He will be teaching on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8 am. In addition to his class, Bruce will be the school's chaplain this year which includes responsibilities of counseling students and organizing the daily chapel service for the students and faculty. He is also hard at work in preparing the Masters program to begin next August. 
Life for Beth hasn't changed much. Here is a picture of Beth hanging out at home. She loves reading books, playing, crawling and climbing on everything. We expect that she will be walking by her first birthday! We are currently working with her on not "screeching" for attention and practicing her sign language at every meal.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and your support. Although we have been transitioning to life here well, we do miss seeing you all. We are so thankful for the Internet and email! It has been so good to "talk" to many of you over this first month.
