I'm so thankful to God to introduce Elizabeth Anaiah Hanlon. We'll be calling her "Beth".
Naming this girl was quite a process and Sarah was very patient (as usual) with all my indecision as to what to call her. We both love the idea of naming a child in a way that expresses our hopes and prayers for their lives but we also felt like we said it all when named our first daughter "Grace".
After much prayer we discovered two names that are packed with a lot of meaning for Sarah and I.
In all honesty, we settled on Beth's middle name before we found a first name we loved. Several months ago we discovered the name "Anaiah" which is a Hebrew name that means "Yahweh answers". After 2 years of earnest prayer for another child and a season of fasting asking God to show His hand in our lives -- Anaiah -- Yahweh answered us mightily last February.
Her first name, Elizabeth, means "Promise of God".
It will be an incredible blessing for Sarah and I to have however many years God blesses us with to be able to continually speak the names "God's promise/God answers" and of course, "Grace".
